Boundary Bay Tokyo Release Party!! Day2


 We’re pleased to announce the DC Boundary Bay Brewing Japan Release Party on Sunday, the 28th!!






Before Ed Bennett founded Boundary Bay in 1996, he wanted to make wine. While studying wine at the University of California, he had his first experience with craft beer – and fortunately for us he discovered beer was his true calling. Boundary Bay is one of the largest brewpubs in the United States, and has been ranked several times in the top 25 breweries in the country. Boundary Bay also voted Washington’s best overall brewery in 2009, 2010, and 2011, and best brewpub in 2011 and 2012.

A honey-amber colored India Pale Ale with good body, fairly strong alcohol content and aggressive “fresh hop” quality.
ABV: 7% IBU: 69

Copper colored with a subtle blend of domestic and imported malts. Hops are present in the background of this brew.
ABV: 5.4% IBU: 44

Old Bounder
Full-bodied, copper in color with a smooth caramel sweetness, warming alcohol content and balanced hop character
ABV: 10% IBU: 25

Oatmeal Stout
Black, very rich and full-bodied with a silky smoothness and a roasty finish.
ABV: 9.5% IBU: 37

Belgian Tripel
Golden in color, medium bodied and moderately hopped. Flavor and aroma are both dominated by alcohol and Belgian yeast. It has a nice malt backbone, is slightly earthy and finishes dry.
ABV: 9% IBU: 20

Scotch Ale
A hearty, deep red ale with full body and fine malt character. Excellent balance – smooth and rich without being too sweet.
ABV: 6.4% IBU: 39

Irish Red
smooth, easy drinking, lighter bodied ale with a deep red hue. It has a low hop bitterness and a toffee-like roasted, dry yet malty, clean finish
ABV: 6% IBU: 25

Imperial IPA
A full bodied, copper colored India Pale Ale. Strong alcohol content and an aggressive fresh hop finish
ABV: 9.5% IBU: 90
